Unleash your creativity in a beautiful and unique environment at Dawe Studio here in Kiama.

No prior painting experience necessary. We know everyone can create expressive art if they're ready to have a go. This experience will be a combination of creating and socialising so - what’s not to love!

You will receive full instruction and assistance on how to create your art from your heart!

Things to know about your Expressive Art Experience…

1. SERIOUS FUN:

Painting is the perfect therapeutic activity as it directs your focus to colours, lines, shapes, and letting go. We’ll enjoy a social atmosphere, fun games, music, and gain a new skills and create a masterpiece too?

2. BOOST CREATIVITY:

No matter what is happening on your canvas, it is your artistic expression. Go beyond what you know and be innovative to create something with your own personal touch that reveals your expression and motivation.

3. WHAT TO WEAR:

We suggest you wear shoes and clothing that will support a paint splash or two. Aprons will be provided.

4. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

This Experience is  an art class, so  even if you haven’t painted since pre-school, we are here to guide you with easy tips and techniques. Everyone who walks in will walk out an Expressive Artist!  All the materials will be provided. We'll set up, pack up and clean up!

5. SOCIALISING:

This is no ordinary painting class… arrive early so you get to meet like-minded lovers of art and culture.  There will also be icebreakers (activities) to get your creativity flowing.

6. BYO DRINKS & SNACKS:

Due to dietary requirements of many and we all choose a different beverage, please bring your favourites – wine, sparkling water, thermos of tea, cheese platters or dessert!  Enjoying a glass of wine and painting, great way to spend a Friday night.
