What's On
BEFORE the Festival :
This year our theme is HORSES.
In '24 we all painted Cows, in 2025 we painted Chickens and Ducks, so as 2026 is the Year of the Horse, we thought it fitting to set the challenge of painting Horses.

What's On
DURING the Festival :
This (our third) year, we’re taking the festival to new heights! Offering three locations for you to enjoy all aspects of what's on offer (artistic or not) : at

Old Fire Station : Home to the Art Competition - showcasing Horses. Be sure to pop in and vote for your favourite artwork in the People’s Choice Award and watch Daisy receive a new coat of paint. 1st - 7th October.

Hindmarsh Park : = Our weekend special event of Live music, picnic blankets and free Plein Air Watercolour experiences. 3rd - 4th October.

Joyce Wheatley Community Centre : = Will host our Drop-in Art days and may become a wet weather backup for Plein Air experiences (let's hope not). 1st - 6th October.
SPECIAL EVENT :
Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th October
Over the long weekend, visit Kiama and enjoy live music, workshops, interactive art, and local food — it’s a celebration where creativity meets community.
Two days "Plein Air" outdoor celebration of creativity in Hindmarsh Park, bring your picnic blanket, grab some takeaway from our amazing cafes, enjoy free live music or book an easel for one of our three workshops per day over the weekend.
