It could be procrastination, perfection or confidence ... It's not about teaching you to draw or paint, however we can do that at the same time, it's more about expressing yourself and finding your own style whilst having fun alongside friends, family or colleagues.
Can I do an Art Therapy session with you?
Absolutely, and this is what a session looks like. We begin by checking in with how you are and see if there is anything specific you would like to explore straight away. You will be offered art materials appropriate for the activity you are working on. You'll make art and there will be time to engage with your finished art and find the hidden gems within. Insights and strategies will be discussed to encourage positive thinking, effective behaviours and emotional rebalancing. If necessary, homework may be encouraged. If you are working online, materials will be whatever you have available.
Do I need my own art supplies?
All materials are provided, please feel free to bring any favourites of your own.
If you are doing an online session, please note you will need to have some art supplies ready. This can be simply pencils and paper.
