Entry to Exhibit at The Daisy Spring Festival 2025

Drop off Art between 8am and 10am on Thursday 25th September.

Pick up Art between 4pm and 5:30pm on Wednesday 1st October.

Three Age Categories:

• Create stunning Chicken/ Duck Wall artwork

• Use any painting medium (watercolour, acrylic or oil) or mixed media

Terms and Conditions of Entry to the Painting Competition.

1. **Eligibility:**

   - The competition is open to all individuals aged 8 and above.

   - Participants must enter the competition in their respective age categories: 8-12 years, 13-18 years, and 18+ years.

2. **Submission Guidelines:**

   - Artwork must feature a Chicken or Duck as the theme.

   - Acceptable mediums include painting or mixed media.

   - Each participant may submit only one entry.

   - Artwork must be original and created by the participant in the last 12 months.

   - Size of artwork to be no larger than 60x60cm.

   - Artwork can be on sale during the Festival with all proceeds going directly to the artist.

3. **Entry Process:**

   - All entries must be submitted by September 23rd, unless spaces are sold out prior.

   - Secure your spot through online payment.

   - Include your name and contact information.

   - If you wish to sell your artwork as part of the competition/exhibition, 100% of proceeds will go back to the artist.

4. **Judging and Prizes:**

   - Entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, and artistic skill.

   - There will be one winner in each age category and one overall People's Choice award.

   - People's Choice award will be determined by public vote during the festival and awarded at the end of the Festival, 1st October.

   - Category Prizes will be announced and awarded at our Opening Night, Friday 4th October.

   - Prizes will be : 

            = 8-12years 1st prize $30 cash and Art pack (Valued $25),  

            = 13-18years. 1st prize $50 cash and Art pack (Valued $40)

            = 18+years      1st prize $150 cash and Art Pack (Value $100)

            = People's Choice Award - $100 cash

5. **Copyright and Usage Rights:**

   - By entering the competition, participants grant Expressive Art Experience and The Daisy Spring Festival the right to display,  and use their artwork for promotional purposes related to the festival.

   - Participants retain the copyright to their artwork.

6. **Liability:**

   - Expressive Art Experience and The Daisy Spring Festival is not responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of submitted artwork.

   - Participants are responsible for the safe delivery and collection of their artwork.

   - Delivery due on Thursday 25th September from 8am-10am.

   - Collection of artwork on Wednesday 9th October from 4pm-6pm.

7. **Notification:**

   - Winners will be notified by email and text (if not at opening Night).

8. **Disqualification:**

   - Expressive Art Experience and The Daisy Spring Festival reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not adhere to these terms and conditions or is deemed inappropriate.

9. **Agreement to Terms:**

   - By holding a ticket to the competition, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
