Workshop - Ocean & Earth
In this workshop we will be delving into the magic of painting watercolour in a fluid contemporary style, painting an ocean scene. Kathy will guide you on how to paint with minimal drawing and will demonstrate how to let the watercolour do the work. See the scene come together with the blending of colours on the paper in this exciting workshop.
Along with guidance and demonstration Kathy will advise you on watercolour materials to use for best effects. Ticket options are BYO art supplies or have art supplies provided for you. If you are bringing your own materials a list will be supplied on booking

ARTIST STATEMENT
Kathy Karas is a local artist living at Tullimbar in the city of Shellharbour.
A career spanning 30 years, Kathy regularly exhibits within Australia and overseas including exhibiting in Italy and recently in Texas USA.
Kathy has been tutoring art classes since 2012 and has facilitated many painting workshops, retreats and taken groups on painting tours to Europe since 2016.
Her passion is to share her art, experience and techniques with fellow art lovers and with those who like to combine art with travel.
